Worship is the center of our lives at All Hallows. Some services are formal and feel quite ancient, while others are more relaxed and “come-as-you-are.” When COVID numbers allow, our Sunday Choral Eucharist offers hymns, chants, and a high standard of music from our choir and organist. All Hallows also provides daily Morning Prayer on Zoom, monthly healing services, seasonal Choral Evensongs, Compline services, and two festivals of Lessons and Carols. Pastoral services and rites of Reconciliation (Confession), Anointing of the Sick, Holy Eucharist for the homebound, funerals, Holy Matrimony, and Baptism are available by appointment with the Rector.
In-person Services: We are now meeting both in our church buildings and outside. For the foreseeable future, masks are optional for indoor worship but required for congregational singing indoors. The following is information on our current service offerings:
- 5:00 pm Saturdays, “come-as-you-are” outdoor Holy Eucharist at the Chapel (weather permitting). You will need to bring your own chairs; lighting and outdoor heaters are available for use when needed. Children’s Godly Play (Sunday School) meets at 4:45 before this service.
- 8:30 am Sundays, Rite I Holy Eucharist at the Chapel — a quiet contemplative service.
- 11:00 am Sundays, Rite II Holy Eucharist at the Brick Church —broadcast via Zoom.
- Holiday Offerings: Please click HERE to download a list of Holiday Services and Activities from December 18 through January 2.
Online Morning Prayer: We log in Monday through Thursday at 9:00 am for Morning Prayer via Zoom. These half-hour services include Psalms, Lectionary readings, prayers, and a brief Bible study or homily from our Rector. The balance of the hour consists of a virtual “coffee social.”
