When God Hugs Us
For four Sundays in May (we will not have class on Memorial Day weekend), Fr. Jeff will offer a series entitled “Coffee Talk/” It actually has nothing to do with coffee.
Instead, if that reference brought to your mind an image of the SNL skit with Mike Meyers, then this class is actually for you!
We’re going to explore how humans shape and are shaped by the entertainment that we consume on a daily basis. We will start with a consideration of the human condition, then we will seek out themes from TV, movies, literature and art that serve as dramatic parables which connect humanity’s need for God with the God we need.
Classes are at 10:00 AM Sundays in the Brick Church Parish Hall Coffee Hour Room.
